
NURSERY FEES 2024/2025
Nursery Fees are calculated over the 51 weeks the nursery is open, then divided into 12 equal months.
Book 5 Full days for the price of 4.5 days until Government funding support is in place.
Registration Fee nonrefundable: £75.00 with nursery uniform and welcome bag
One month’s fees as a deposit of your child’s nursery pattern. This is payable when the Nursery confirms your child’s place at Rocking Horse. The deposit is refundable once you have given one months’ notice, your child’s nursery account is clear and your child has had their last day at Nursery.
Minimum Attendance/sessions
Children must attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week i.e. 2 morning session or one full day and one morning.
Sibling Discount
10% sibling discount for the eldest child in the family, if both attending 3 full days or more simultaneously (until Government Funding becomes available)
Tax free childcare account: Rocking Horse Nursery accepts this method of payment. You can create an account via www.childcarechoices.gov.uk if you are eligible, once the account is set up and you start to pay into your account, for every £8.00 you pay in the government will give you back £2.00. Please ensure you update your details every 3 months otherwise the government will not support the account.

Funded hours
Government funded 15 hours.
Children will be entitled to 15 hours funding from 9 months for 38 weeks.
Parents need to claim their code from www.childcarechoices.gov.uk the term before their funding is due to start.
All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of funded early education or childcare per year. It’s usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.
Parents need to give half a term’s written notice to leave due to the calculation of funding, depending on which term you leave the Nursery you may owe some monies if you have used to many hours.
Forms will be sent home via the nursery.
Parents will need to supply proof of their child’s details in the form of their passport or birth certificate.
Rocking Horse Nursery operates as a Stretch funded provision over 51 weeks.
Funded hours 570 divided by 51 weeks = 11.17 hours per week
Full weeks funding applies to 3 to 5 full days, you will receive 11.17 hours per week.
Daily funding rate for stretch funding the Nursery will claim is 3.72 hours per day up to the maximum of 11.17 hours per week.
Half day funding rate for stretch funding the Nursery will claim 2.23 hours per day up to the maximum of 11.17 hours per week.
Funding hourly rate under 2s £12.10, 2-year-olds £8.54- and 3–4-year-olds £6.05 (April 2024/2025 rate from Surrey County Council) This rate could change from April 2025 when Surrey publish there new rates.
NURSERY FEES 2024/2025
New Funded 15+ Deal. Full use of your child’s 30 hours funding.
How can you do this?
Full use of the +15 funded hours will be available to your child if they attend: 3 full days
All funded hours will be stretched over a 51-week contract.
A deposit will be required equivalent to one month’s fees, which will be returned on the successful completion of the contract.
Any parent wishing to take advantage of the new 15+ offer must supply all information required by HMRC.
Government + Funded 15 hours
Children must be attending Three full days to qualify for +15 hours which is Nursery policy
Children will be entitled to +15 hours the term after their third birthday.
Parents must apply online to receive the code. www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Parents need to supply nursery with
*Birth certificate for the child
*National insurance number
*Code they will be given
Parents must reapply for the activation code every three months and provide the nursery with this code to claim the +15 hours.
